ABOUT US
ASMBLY HALL is a mens, womens and kids apparel and accessory boutique founded in 2011 and located in San Francisco's vibrant NoPa corridor.
ASMBLY HALL specializes in an assorted mix of hip and novel apparel and accessories that cater to the fashionable and contemporary standards of our target customer – The Sophisticated Prep – young and seasoned professionals who value the importance of quality and craftsmanship in product. We are also a big supporter of all things local, with a large curation of locally made & locally designed products found at the shop.
On March 27th, 2023, shop owner Tricia had the honor of visiting The White House as a small business owner for ASMBLY HALL, an invitation from President Joe Biden sent to a select number of successful & resilient female small business owners & influential business leaders across the country in celebration of Women’s History Month. It was such a privilege to be given this opportunity! Read more about Tricia's White House journey here..
Additionally, on March 3rd, 2023, our business alongside seven Asian American, Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander (AANHPI) businesses, was selected by SF's Office of Small Business and Vice President Kamala Harris's White House team to have a round table discussion with VP Kamala Harris, share about our background & business, and provide insight on the challenges currently faced by Small & AANHPI businesses. In our first year of business, ASMBLY HALL was nominated for the Best of the Bay's "Best Fresh Prep Award" in the SF Bay Guardian. Through the years, we have been featured in the SF Chronicle's "Sunday Style Section," nominated for the SF Bay Guardian's "Small Business-Readers Choice Award," featured in the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center's "Faces of Entrepreneurship," and in 2016 we were fortunate to have partnered with former San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee at our Fillmore location to help launch "Shop & Dine in the 49" - an initiative to bring spending back into SF's diverse neighborhoods.
Our business has also allowed us to become active contributors to the Filipino-American community in San Francisco. Since 2017, we have been active participants in SoMa's Filipino Creative Night Market Undiscovered SF, and part of the efforts to preserve the rich Filipino history in SoMa through Republika SF- a project to build the Nation's 1st Filipino Artisan Marketplace, Retail & Event Space in the SoMa corridor. We are excited to announce that ASMBLY HALL will also have a permanent home at Republika SF, set to open in 2024.
