2016.. The best of! February 06 2017
Why hello 2017!
After a crazy busy Holiday season, we are finally
catching up on things here at the shop
and getting back on track with the usual grind,
including our super creative informative blog posts
which we know many many of you
have missed dearly.
We had such an awesome year, we didn't want it to end!
(trust us we were just as sad when it came to a close..)
But onwards and upwards!
And in case we haven't seen you in a hot minute,
we wanted to catch you up on a few amazing, whirlwind,
sorta mind-blowing events that happened to us in 2016.
We celebrated our 5 Year Shop Anniversary!!!
Of course we had our usually awesome, off-the-charts
fun-fun-in-the-sun annual Anni party, inviting back
our first ever featured artists Jeramie Tolentino and
Briana Kranz-Corcoran to showcase
their talent at the shop for the season.
Thank you to friends, fam & customers who came out,
and no doubt it wouldn't have been complete without
the fantastic tunes of the Gemstone Band.
...And to round out 2016,
Our good friend, customer, and tremendous supporter
Mayor Ed Lee, mayor of San Francisco,
paid the shop a visit during Small Business Week
to kick off the "Shop & Dine in the 49" campaign--
an initiative to bring local spending back into
SF's diverse neighborhoods.
The Press Conference was held at the shop
where Mr. Mayor spoke and our very own
Ronnie-Boy got to say a few words.
Carolyn Tyler of KGO-Channel 7 news covered
the event, and we were grateful that many
of SF's raddest small business owners and supporters
came out to show their love and support.
It was a true honor to have this event at our cozy, lil' shop!
Lastly, we added a few new goodies to the assortment,
including some gear for you and your minis
to have a cool photo op...
...and we've added more to our AH shop gear with
new shop tees + fleece..
Plus we partnered up with one of our fave local
brands for an Asmbly Hall x Alamere collab,
exclusive to the shop..
All found at the shop and online friends!
THANK YOU - Salamat- Gracias - Ankthay Ouyay
for your love & support friends!
See you at shop soon!
We are very honored, greatly humbled and thankful
to be featured as one of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center's
"Faces of Entrepreneurship."
The Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center is an SF-based
non-profit designed to educate, innovate, and connect
aspiring and current entrepreneurs.
Established in 2014 with support from the
Nasdaq Educational Foundation,
the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center or "The Center,"
serves the greater Bay Area community
through differentiated events,
meaningful entrepreneurial education,
and a strong commitment to mentorship.
Take a peek below at a little bit of what we had to say
which The Center featured on their social media platforms.
Even Harlow-Bear got in on the action...
Thank You to everyone who has supported us -
whether shopping and buying at the shop or online,
attending our events and even just coming in to say hello.
Yes, business transactions keep us afloat and running, but it's the
Human Transaction that we value the most.
We're small. We're local.
And we are thankful for your support!
SF CHRONICLE x ASMBLY HALL September 26 2014
We are so excited to have been featured in the Sunday edition of the SF Chronicle's "Shop Talk" Style section a few weeks ago! Contributer Maggie Winterfeldt had written a delightful interview piece on owners Ron & Tricia - Click on the image below for a peek at the article...
We are thankful, honored and humbled for the continued support this city brings!
