From the Amazon to the Concrete Jungle...

We're so excited to introduce a new line of jewelry to the shop ~ Tagua Nut!
.

Tagua Nut, also known as Amazon Ivory, is an eco-friendly material
that hails from the South American Rainforest. This hard nut, with its creamy
color, grainy structure, and smooth texture possesses all the great qualities of
elephant ivory but with no harm done to animals.

Tagua Nuts drop from a palm tree and are
collected by the Amazon people from the rainforest floor.
They are then crafted into a variety of beautiful, organic pieces,
such as the beads shown in the wrap bracelet above,
as well as the colorful, layered necklace featured below...

Margo Tettamanzi, Bay Area local designer of these eco-friendly pieces
carefully selects each bead for her exclusive designs.
She creates everything from necklaces to rings to bracelets.
Every purchase contributes to a sustainable source of income
for the Rainforest communities and helps slow down deforestation.

As you can see, every one of these pieces has a distinct
look and feel that sets them apart.
Whether it's a Tagua Nut statement necklace
or a simple Tagua Nut ring with a pop of color,
each piece will definitely add a unique flair to every outfit,
and make a great addition to every jewelry collection!

Be sure to stop by the shop to check them out in person!
